Hey!

This thing comes when I try to update and it says, "This PC doesn't currently meet all the system requirements for Windows 11". Now I know I have to enable tpm which I already did and still getting this error. After searching for a while I saw I have to enable secure booting as well. I'm using Asus ROG B450-F with Ryzen 5 3600. Can someone please help me guide to enable secure booting? Or do I have to do something else to get Windows 11 going on?

Help!

Hi there,

according to this list Windows 11 Supported AMD CPU's your CPU is supported.

So before you go and change some more settings in your BIOS try downloading and executing the WhyNotWindows11 (scroll down to "Assets" and click on "WhyNotWin11.exe") tool to get more information on what is actually the problem.

It is much more detailed than the "PC health Check" app from Microsoft.

If you've done that post the results here.

You need to enter the BIOS open the Boot tab and enable Secure Boot from there.

To add: If you don't see the option, then you have UEFI disabled (set to Legacy) or CSM (Compatibility Support Module) enabled. Disable it.

Note if those are changed your motherboard will no longer see the OS. This is because the drive table format of the drive needs to change.

Here is an excellent guide:

I'm in a similar situation. B450 3600 and RTX 2070 TMP 2.0 and still not good enough for Windows 11 because of CSM. Turning it off makes my M.2 boot drive disappear. At that point installing Linux seems like less work so I'll stick with W10 until microsoft sorts their sh-out.

It is because you need to convert your drive format.

Linux has not less work, you didn't setup your computer properly in the first place.

CSM should only be enabled if you are using a hardware that has specific compatibility issue because it is aged old, and can't be upgraded (like you are using a specialized PCIe card for some custom machinery).
