Why Is My Prebuilt Computer Underperforming?

Aaa F*** I knew something was fishy when I bought it for a reduced price 😢. Thanks a lot for the tip

But I'm going to upgrade this computer though as it has gone about 1 year now since I bought it.
What other than the Motherboard, CPU cooler, Power supply should I buy? Is my CPU trash too?

Don't upgrade it. Just first do a clean install of windows on the ssd and see what gives. The 8700 is still a good gaming cpu never said it was bad or anything. Can easily do warzone at 100-120fps IF you of course do a clean install. It's a software issue here basically not a hardware issue.

Sadly for you I don't recommend upgrading this system but just reusing the gpu and storage and then just doing a full rebuild since nothing else is really worth keeping.

Hi, this is my first post here so I might mess this post up.

So bought this computer from ASUS. You can check the exact specs under "Teknisk specifikation".

But when I play warzone I can only get around 60-100 fps at max even tough it has a gtx2070 and a i7.

I have tried lowering the graphics which gives me about 5 more fps at max but never over 120.
I open the PC up and cleaned it and realised that this is how the motherboard and the cooler is looking. (picture)

Also tried out some MSI afterburner overclocking as they removed the overclocking section on the bios for this custom built motherboard.

I need help to locate the main reason my computer is underperforming. I have some guesses but I want to hear some opinions.
I also attached a Hardware Monitoring html and some screenshots of that.

It's an older i7 8700 so yeah not the best however there are a couple things with this system that I know are issues.

It is LITTERED with bloatware. Like no joke fresh install this pos pre installed os. It's horrible on these units. Also don't install ANY of the rgb controlling software it eats up a lot of resources on this system.

You bought a 3 ish year old computer so performance will be lower of course.

The 8700 boosts to 4.3ghz only all core so that isn't helping and it's running at near 100% during gaming.

I'd say fresh install this system and you should see a nice boost in performance as that asus bloatware eats up a fair bit of resources.

Just to clear up my confusion. GPU, SSD, NME are the only things that i can reuse? Not even the (2X) 16 gb RAM sticks?!

Again before you upgrade anything do a fresh install of windows. So just make a bootable usb stick. Wipe the ssd and then put fresh windows on it that will be a massive help.

Considering the next generation of intel is about to launch and amd follows soon in early 2022 I'd say gpu and storage would be all you can keep.

But again don't upgrade first try to fix the issue. YOUR COMPUTER IS STILL A GOOD GAMING COMPUTER. I can't say that loud enough. Also doesn't help that warzone is optimized like crap but again a normal 8700 on a non bloated os EASILY does an average of about 120fps.
