Hi,

For the last year and a half, my workplace has changed into working from home permanently.
I’m upgrading my home office and one of the things I’m looking to upgrade is a wireless mouse, but I’m finding it a bit difficult to find the right one.

My requirements for a new mouse is the following:

- must be wireless

- able to connect to at least two computers (home PC for gaming + work laptop) and be able to change source quickly, preferably with a button.

- low latency (for gaming)

- rechargeable. Bonus for USB C cable charging.

Any suggestion would be grateful.

Logitech m590

very easy to switch

I own one, and it s perfect for light gaming as well (side switches aren't very nice to press)

i've been rocking my MX Master 2S for ages, MX master 3 is prbably the way to go for this usecase:

I have tried MX master 3, but the latency/accuracy was too noticeable compared to my current wired G502

i only have a G500 to compare to, and i honestly couldnt tell the difference using the logitech unify dongle thingy.

i suppose it comes down to just how much "low latency" OP is talking about.. but you arent gonna find anything "GAMING SUPER LOW LATENCY" stuff that'll also support switching computers without re-pairing.

Its moot point when its just swapping dongles. In this case ill go with a G Pro Wireless Superlight.

I just bought a Logitech G603, can have the high performance dongle in the PC for gaming plus be connected to another device via bluetooth, switch between them with a button on the mouse.

It takes AA batteries instead of being rechargeable but that's a good thing since the rechargeable ones usually only last a couple of days between charges vs weeks for AA-powered ones, and swapping a (rechargeable) battery is quick and doesn't come with the annoyance of having to run the mouse with a cable every time it's unexpectedly empty.

depends on user preference as much as the preceived latency. i have a special hatred for swapping dongles around. both my wireless mouse (mx master and mx anywhere) have a dongle that lives in *one* computer, and the rest will have to make do with bluetooth.
