do cpu's matter a lot for multi tasking?

i5-10400f vs i7-10700f

will both perform equal when I have a game open while watching yt/twitch/open browsers etc? no streaming or anything like that

Theoretically the 10700f would be better in those kinds of situations as it has more cores to work with, but this would only really matter in CPU bound games (assuming you don;t have 10 tabs running streams and yt vids at the same time)

most likely not, although it really depends on what games you're planning to play
