Hello guys and gals,

I'm looking for some help to build a computer for my father who loves to play flight simulators, however he has recently got X Plane 10 which barely runs on his mac.

1. Budget & Location

£400~600 and UK. Sorry the budget is vague but I'm unsure how much he is willing to spend.

$670~1005 USD

2. Aim

To play X Plane 10. Literally it is all he wants to do, sadly it's quite a resource hungry game.

3. Monitors

I don't know what we are doing with the monitor yet, there will only be one but i would aim the resolution for 1920x1080

4. Peripherals

Don't need anything extra.

Let me know if you need any more info.

For £40 more you can have a much better CPU (FX 6300) and an ATX board, but then you have to pay a lot more.

I used a hyper 212 evo to quiet it down and allow overclocking

Memory:  Kingston Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£55.72 @ Amazon UK)
Storage:  Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  (£35.94 @ Aria PC)
Video Card:  EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card  (£118.99 @ Amazon UK)
Case:  NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  (£38.65 @ Scan.co.uk)
