Would having parts closer to the RAD in theory be better for cooling

Theoretically, no. Longer tubing would give more fluid capacity in the system, and thus temps would rise slower.

 

Practically, it won't be measurable. Loop order doesn't really matter (given that the reservoir is above the pump)

Making a custom water-colled pc, would having my parts be closer to the rad (shorter tubing) be better for cooling

 

 

using the corsair 1000D case, thinking about which pc will go where
