The majority of my parts have been ordered, and I'm looking for input on finishing this up. It's by far the most expensive build I've ever done, so I want it to go more or less smoothly. Here's what I've got:

CPU - Intel Core i9-10900kf

Mobo- MSI MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI

GPU - Asus GeForce 1650 Super Phoenix

M.2 - SK Hynix Gold P31  2 TB

Case- Seasonic Q704

PSU-  Seasonic DPC-850 Platinum 80+

---

So I still need my RAM and my air cooler.

You better have a good cooler or got a really good deal on that cpu + mobo cause intel is kinda crap if you dont oc it or get a bad deal

Tbh id say go ryzen and just leave it stock, nothing to be gained in ocing nowadays, though if you got a really good deal on that intel cpu and dont want to overclock then id suggest undervolting for efficiency, i think 10th gen does ~4.8 with 1.2v so you can have your system run cool and quiet

Also why the platinum psu? Seems kinda pointless using a platinum psu if your cpu isnt very efficient

Rams wise just get the cheapest 3200mhz cl16 kit you can find, maybe those cheap silicon power rams or if you wanna have a go with ram ocing crucial ballistix

For oc just stick a drp4 or nhd15 ontop of your cpu, for non oc just get a phantom or fuma 2 (it will run hot if not undervolted so heavily reccomend undervolting)

Get Crucial ballistix or G.skill ripjaws V 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Or if u want 2x16, But 32GB ain't necessary in most use case.

For cooler, Noctua NH-D15, Be quiet dark rock pro 4 or Deepcool assassin III, Whichever u find cheaper.
