Complexity =/= the amount of depth a game has.

I do not think that how complex a game is equal to how deep and well thought out a multiplayer game is. BF4 for instance has tons of vehicles, weapons  and gadgets that all do crazy awesome things. However at the end of the day all BF4 is still a bunch of people running around killing each over flags. However games like DOTA or CS which have relatively simple objectives and mechanics (basically blow up your enemy's shit and prevent your shit from blowing up) both possess an immense amount of strategy as to how you accomplish those objectives with the tools you have(this is of course different on a map by map basis). You can have all the guns, vehicles, and game modes you want but if there is no thinking involved in playing the game it just lacks any depth. That is the problem I have with most first person shooters right now. Also keep in mind I am not saying BF4 is a bad game, I am simply saying it lacks depth to me.

Also I did not watch that video so if I just said what he said in the video that was coincidental :P
