Don't get a 1030. An 11600 with iGPU would be better, unless you don't plan on upgrading the GPU. Best would be if you can find a 5600G + B550.

the gt 1030 faster than both of them in the gpu benchmarks look at gamers nexus's video

edit: the website sent a fricking captcha, its supposed to be a youtube link dont look at that

While you are not wrong, if you are willing to get a used GPU, the 750 Ti is an even better choice. I think its about 25% better. I am going to keep looking around for you on eBay, unless you don't want a used GPU for your build.

rocket league is just the one anomaly, most other games have it on par with the GT 1030/RX 550. plus you're getting a much worse CPU with the i3.

I found a RX 460 2GB for just a bit more than the GT 1030 you had on your list. Its on eBay for about $130. According to the research I did, its about 90% better than the GT 1030:

the cpu is also much cheaper, it can probably do 75fps just fine, as long as there isnt much in the background. remember the games im playing arent that demanding. plus i can always change it out for an i7 or something later

There you go. That will blow anything out of the water you can find right now for under $130. May even consider using that money to get an i5 or bigger SSD instead if he gives it to you for free.

5600G would be better. 11600 has worse iGPU, but will be more future proof for upgrades than the 10100F.

If you can get that that would be best.

As far as I know, its an alright PC that will get you 1080p no problem with that 970. I would look at getting a bigger SSD or add a HDD to your existing SSD for the future, but that's down the road.
