XPG GAMING S11

Bazim

Hello guys,

I have an old XPG GAMING X11 NVME M.2 SSD. Are these speeds normal? Because it is slower than standard Samsung SSD.

That doesn't look normal. Read and write speeds should be up to 3500/3000 MB for this model.
If you have the old version, which is the good version (first release) before the components got swapped, then this is strange.

The XPG X11 and S40G RGB and also the SX8200 Pro do have problems of speed dropping though. I ever read that for the RGB model the fix for some motherboards was to install the official XPG/Adata software.

Your read speeds are good, but write is unusual. 285 MB is even slower than a SATA SSD. Maybe it also can be caused because your SSD is getting full and the cache is empty. I see 76GB left from the 223GB, even though it should be fine. The cache on 256GB models is usually pretty small. In that way, the benchmark could be right.

For small files, the transfer speeds should be faster.
