360 pad alternative for Windows

Go to solution Solved by Thebman712,

have you looked at a scuf yet if not do that and if that is too expensive then the razer sabertooth is a good option

Hello all,

What are your suggestions for an alternative to the 360 gaming pad on Windows?

I currently have my eye on the Razor pad that seems to be reviewed well, but I really have a distaste for Razor products in general, particular after my last purchase with them - plus I don't need additional triggers or removable parts etc.  I also had my eye on the Batman controller from PowerA but it looks like they've stopped selling it.

The problems I find with the 360 pad, and it could be because my one is old now, but the buttons feels spongy and insensitive - playing something like AC4 is fine, but I can't even get through the tutorial of Injustice due to the insensitivity of the buttons. However I love the design, the comfort, the fit, the placement of triggers and buttons.  It's my favourite non-Nintendo controller since the Mega Drive II 6-button pad (sweet, sweet memories).

I dislike the PS style of controller with the thumbsticks in the middle, it's too unnatural a fit for me.

Wired or Wireless, it doesn't matter.

Price is not an issue - I don't expect this to get crazy expensive for this type of peripheral.

P.S. any word on the availability of the Xbone controller in Windows? To Xbone users - how do you feel it compares to the original 360 pad?

the razer sabertooth is a really nice pad though its is highly priced for what it is (and it is still a little bit like the 360 pad) it feels tighter and better built

the xbone controller feels really different, I would suggest trying it out somewhere - I think its really nice, however I prefer the PS4 controller - which can be used on PC too
