Hi guys, Im building new gaming pc/work station I already have the following:

3800XT

Case (supports e-atx, atx, micro)

Storage

EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G5

graphics card

I am considering the following to finish:

Vetroo V5 CPU Cooler

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08NPNGT6D/?coliid=IME5J1FD5FH91&colid=3EKX9VC4VLX1W&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Right now £26.85

Aorus X570 AORUS ELITE (Socket AM4/X570/DDR4/S-ATA 600/ATX)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TSKR7ZX/?coliid=I7LDFMS304G1X&colid=2ZA4F9J9O5STT&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

right now £168.54

Corsair VENGEANCELPX16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 3600 (Pc4-28800) C181.35V Desktop Memory - Black

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-VENGEANCELPX16GB-Pc4-28800-C181-35V-Desktop/dp/B07RM39V5F/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=CORSAIR+MEMORY&qid=1632603281&qsid=257-4716280-0672066&s=computers&sr=1-5&sres=B07D1XCKWW%2CB07N3LDKR1%2CB07RM39V5F%2CB08SQF871G%2CB07D1WWBL3%2CB018GK2IB4%2CB082DJ19CK%2CB07B2Y1N8B%2CB07D1XJWSJ%2CB07TB3R9JB%2CB01BGZEVHU%2CB01ARHBBPS%2CB0134EW7G8%2CB082DH1FZR%2CB07L2QSY96%2CB0123ZAQJE%2CB07D5QMFY5%2CB08SPYCCF1%2CB07D5RBR2P%2CB08SQC325S&srpt=INTERNAL_MEMORY

right now £64.99 * 2  =     129.98

I cant afford to buy the last three things in one month - so should I get memory and cooler first --- or get motherboard? im aware price creep - what's more like to go up in cost first the memory or the motherboard?

Also are these good picks im on bit budget im trying not to exceed £330 (for these last three things)  if i get anything cheaper that be a plus--  but not at the cost of reliability or ability to overlock without drama.

Save some money on the motherboard by going B550, use the box cooler it comes with (really, it's fine), get 32GB of RAM with the savings (CL16 3200 is fine and in reality just as fast, and cheaper than 3600MHz), enjoy a better computer..

Work Rigs - 2015 15" MBP | 2019 15" MBP | 2021 16" M1 Max MBP | Lenovo ThinkPad T490 |

Except the 3800XT doesn't come with a box cooler.

B550 probably makes sense unless you have a lot of Gen4 devices (not likely), so you might as well save some money.

The cooler you selected is pretty good.

Memory is fine.

Save up until you can buy all three things in one month. If something comes DOA, you'll be out of the return window to get a new one. Buying over time is basically never a good idea.

im in the uk - very little price difference - actually 2400 MHZ costs more currently?

both have xmp 2.00

would 3600 be faster in reality and have higher overlock potential?

Don't get 2400MHz, get at least 3200MHz, for sure.
