Speach to Text without internet?

Hi,

 

is there a reasonably recent Android phone model that can convert German speach into written text without having internet access and doesn't make itself unusable by forcing all kinds of google crap upon the user?

 

It could be tremendously helpful for someone I know who is hard of hearing if it isn't too difficult to use.

 

I know that the Samsung GT-S7710 can do it, but they are so old that barely any software can still run on it (Big shame on Samsung for not supporting their devices!), and the screen is so ridiculously small that's particularly unusable for a cell phone.
