Hey guys, I got another question for y'all. I posted the other week looking for new monitors and found them. Few days later my video card is started to crap out and blink, it's really annoying to code and BAM it flashes lol. Anwyays I need some help as I haven't kept up much in tech since my Information Technology class a few years back.

I develop so I use Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, Unity, Eclipse, firefox and on and on all day long. I use 3 monitors. I do mild gaming but to be honest that is the last thing on my mind. Would a 290 or 780 be more suited for them applications.

My next question is far more important and TBH why I am here. I switch between 3 way monitors and my HDTV through the day. With my current AMD card it rememebrs all my settings. What I mean is I unplug my main monitor and then plug my TV in all the other monitors switch over and BAM I am good to go. When I plug my main monitor back in the computer goes back into the 3 way mode and all my screens come on with NO imput from me. I know in the past I have had HUGE issues with nVidia and even mentioning multi monitors lol. Does the 780 remember my settings and switch over WITHOUT MY INPUT. I do not want to go into Windows settings and redo my settings 10 times a day. Is the 780 plug and play with Multi monitors in Windows 8? My connections right now if it matters are (2)DVI and HDMI.

Anyways any help would be appreciated. I searched online for a bit on the subject but came up empty handed.

I wasn't able to find much NEW on AMD and Maya and I always thought the general consensus was that AMD ran Maya better..but the 780 is faster. I was mainly concerned about switching inputs as that time really adds up. However the guy above said it should be good to go. Guess I got my answer.
