That scratch isn't the problem. I've seen worse scratches from the factory. The only reason to worry about pins would be if one of those pins had been completely scraped off.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@captainmo - Did you plug in the supplemental PCIe power for your card? I don't think the scratches you have on the PCIe fingers are anything more than cosmetic.

I did everything is in as normal it could be my pcie slot ill have to try a diffrent system

what did you hit when you missed the slot? can you check the slot's pins themselves for damage? that surface scratch will never cause the gpu to break like that. I would guess you damaged something else, maybe you scratched a copper trace on the pcb and damaged it. Could you check the area for physical damage?

hi,
iv seen alot worse than that and working, i never had or see a dead gpu by missing the slot, also i have at home one old hd 6850 that is one a box full of old parts and few months ago i tested it and its working...so i dont think is that sensitive.. since you were cleaning the pc check if you correctly plugged in the power cables to the motherboard and gpu, also use the other pci,e power cable from you power suply and also check if all power cables are well connected to your psu.

if even this way dont work, try the card in other pci-e slot if you have one, iv seen some cheap motherboards get a broken pci-e slot.
