WILL MY PC EXPLODE?? HELP

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

Don't see anything wrong, but if you mean the temps that's completely normal. Just make sure it doesn't go above 85 under load. My 5500 XT is like 65c idle (because the fan stops)

What PSU do you have? If it's a low quality one that can explode (still unlikely)

Probably not questions to ask yourself, why is the temperature so high is that normal for a GT 730? is it because the cooler on the card isn't up to the job (consider a custom fan curve) or is it the air flow in may case non existent (place a desk fan blowing at the front of the case if you get better temperatures you need to improve the case cooling).

In my experience (not GT 730) 81 degrees is normal for the GPU.

Current system. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X; MoBo: Gigabyte X570S Aorus Master; RAM: 2x Crucial Ballistix MAX 2x8 GB (BLM2K8G40C18U4B); GPU: RX 6900 XT Gigabyte Aorus Master; case: Fractal Design Meshify-2; Storage: Samsung 980PRO 1TB NVMe SSD + 2x Samsung 980 1TB NVMe SSD; PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850; Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360.

47°C is 116°F, which is within the thermal range of that card. The lower the temps the better, you could add more fans to the case, or see if there's a better fan. The GT 730 isn't a high-end card. I had a GT 710 and it ran at about the same temps as your 730.

I wouldn't worry too much unless it jumped up to 70°C or higher and stayed there continuously.

If it is overheating, there will be symptoms like black screens, freezing, video lagging/stuttering, etc.

I have a Geforce RTX 2060 which is usually running around 50°C.

You could install Open Hardware Monitor or a similar utility to keep an eye on the temps. I set up a widget that sits in the corner of my desktop so I can monitor the  temp of my CPU and GPU in real-time.

Just be aware that not all the utilities report the temps 100% accurately. A few degrees isn't cause for concern. 10s of degrees might be.

Not sure what specific model, but Redragon doesn't seem to have a good manufacturer like Seasonic or CWT. If you can I would recommend a different unit, but the chances of this one exploding are still small.

Has there ever been a case of PC exploding? Burst in Flames yes, but Exploding?

There have been some instances of course, but with modern hardware not so much, i refurbish computers on the side and i always get a new power supply from evga typically that have all the modern protection gizmos on them.
