Gameplay Recording by dedicating cores to it??

So I've been thinking of ways to record gameplay. My Specs:

Ryzen 5 4500U

8GB 3200MHz

Intel 512GB NVME

I know the specs are not that good, but I was wondering if I can set "Affinity" from task manager to use 4 cores for the game and rest 2 can be used by the recording software? I need to record at 1080P30 only.

Does setting Affinity via task manager actually do something?

Also, recording via iGPU is out of question as you guys might already know..

Thank you!

Use Radeon Relive (AMD) or Shadow Play (NVIDIA).

Then a USB capture card is your best bet.

Since any software that uses the CPU will harm gameplay performance.
