I think it's up to all of you but i'm looking for the best CPU dedicated to my current GTX 1080 Ti. By that i mean the CPU that has the least amount of bottleneck for that one specific graphics card. (Of course bottlenecks depend on which game you're running on but you know what i mean, i want both CPU and GPU to work as equally as possible), and i use my PC for gaming and game development.

TL;DR: What's the best CPU for a GTX 1080 Ti?

Because money isn't a factor for building a PC, i can buy whatever piece i want. So that's why i asked here what's best to buy for a 1080 Ti, i don't want to over-do it like buying a damn 5950x for it, too overkill.

the thing is the better the cpu the better the fps, the price to preformance is going to be bad at the top end. a threadriper is more overkill than a 5950x but its definitely better.

Get a 5600x or 10600k. They'll do you fine.
