Best Microphone for sub 50$

What are some best sub $50 microphone for skype and some game recordings? 

im thinking Blue Snowball ice at the moment.

But if there is any cheaper solution, please recommend me some!

 

p.s. i refuse to use those "clip on your shirt" mics, preferably stand alone ones.

Snowflake would be the best option for VoIP and a behind in professional recordings, but I you aren't revordin seriously it will do well enough.

Blue Snowball is probably the best you can get.

I'd say the Audio Technica ATR2500 or the CAD U37 are the best you can get for $50 (if you live in the US).

Whether you need it is an other story entirely.

For VoiP only, a Blue Snowball is all you need.

 

EDIT: After a quick search it seems the ATR2500 has risen in price, unfortunately. Get the U37 would be my recommendation.
