Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz 16GB

Corsair Hydro Series H110i CPU

Palit RTX 3080

 

Upgrade 1 :

 

ASUS ROG Strix B460-F

Intel i7-11700K

 

And current watercooler if the brackets fits (?)

 

Upgrade 2 : 

 

AMD 5 5600X

 

ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Pro or ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Any difference ? Should i go for strix or save 200nok and go for TUF?

 

Noctua NH-U12S

Is it worth upgrading from the i7 7700k now or should i wait ? Thinking about waiting for the black friday sale to see if there is any good deals.

Havent had AMD for years, but as i can see now they are the king of value when it comes to gaming and performance so i am eager to try out AMD again if it is any good.

 any comments? Suggestions etc??

 

I know also that DDR5 is on the way, but there is date yet set so i am not sure if it is worth to wait and if the prices are gonna be any higher and also i need new ram modules then. I am pretty happy with RAM i have now.

Also i want the option to have 2 m.2 slots for expansion, already have 1 m.2 and i am aiming for another one for games and stuff.

You have great GPU on hands.

Wait for little more than month. New intel CPUs are coming up, They might have better option for you, Or at least make prices little cheaper for previous Gen.

It's supposed to be released on 19th November.

 

Also, If you find good deal on black Friday, Than don't wait.

P.S. 11700K is better than 5600X 

But get a 11700F, Not 11700K, BC B series motherboard doesn't support overclocking and you'll be paying extra for nothing.

And add saved money to your choice of motherboard and buy B560, Not B460.
