fan header current/power limitation?

My beloved friends,

I purchased this controller.

How many fans can I hook up to it and them via one header 4-pin or ARGB on MoBo without a risk of damaging the board?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

its answered dircetly on the website under specification. 2.5A for all 8 fans at12V
This means 30W for 8 fans or 3.75W per connector

not per connector on controller,I wanna know per connector on motherboard.

Maybe you could explain to us how you think the motherboard fan header plays a role in this, from your engineering perspective.

for the argb it only gets probably data and ground and gets 5v power from sata im guessing.

for the 4pin pwm it only takes pwm and tac from one header from the controller and gets the 12v from the sata

both max you can do is on the web site.

ooooh so aRGB header doesn't have nothing to do with current/power limitation, and no chance of damaging the MoBo as long as I respect power limit of the controller?

no. in this case we are talking about the powered hub so it gets its power form the sata instead of the mb that's the point of it.

in a different case if your not using a powered hub then it will pull power from the mb.

to find what your mb can handle you go to google type in your mb go the the manufacturer web site download the manual and all the specs will be in there. how much your pwm can handle how much the argb/rgb can handle (normally about 3 amps 4 argb/rgb) for pwm its probably like 1.8ish armps or he cpu pwm header can normally do a bit more.
