Cool so a) can you reccomend a more cost effiecent motherboard and b) I would rather have 32gb rather than 16...

I agree 32gb is fine. Cl18 is fine if much cheaper than cl16. I would get a Arctic liquid freezer II 280 instead, unless you want rgb. Get another SSD thn the WD 550

I mean, it's an option. The problem is that your CPU doesn't have an IGP, means it's functionally useless until you have some kind of GPU to put in it.

It's entirely possible that I misinterpreted/misread your topic and/or question. This happens more often than I care to admit. Apologies in advance.

@Koder i would swap the AIO with a Arctic liquid freezer 360 AIO
I would swap the corsair ram with the Crucial ballistix 32 GB CL 16 and the Mothreboard with a MSI B550 Gaming plus
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/z7JPPV

Here is the link

Overall same to better performance for a lower cost

Essentially, the longer you wait with your build, the better.
A new PC isn't much fun without a GPU, but in the meantime newer hardware might become available - so you might end up with either better or cheaper hardware by waiting - as a general rule of thumb.

I did find out however, that nvidia's site has a json file that you can use to monitor when their UK partner have new FE's in stock.
If you know scripting, it should be easy to monitor (did one before I realized that importing from UK would add additional import tax since brexit)
EDIT: This is the json I played around with, before 3080 Ti was launched:

You should concentrate on buying the gpu first. There are some places that have bits of stock although prices are inflated.

The MSI board in your spec is one of the worst in terms of VRM. The B550 version is tons better. If you don't need wifi then the B550 Tomahawk is cheaper.

The Fuma 2 is a good air cooler if you want an alternative to an AIO. The Arctic Liquid Freezer as already suggested is good though if you want liquid cooling.

Avoid the WD Blue SN550 as they swapped out parts and it is a lot slower. The spec below has a Gen 4 SSD which will help if moving large files around. The WD Black SN750 is a good choice for a Gen 3.

Solid Corsair unit for a good price.

also, you won't be aable to test whether the parts work, and could drive them out of rhe return period, only for u too realise it is faulty

This is a valid point - the CPU you are looking at, doesn't have an embedded GPU - so unless you have an old GPU available, you would essentially buy a very expensive but useless hunk of metal.
