LG 24MK600B, should I have black level set to low or high?

On low it looks fine but on high everything looks hazy or as if the gamma was just turned up. I watched an LTT video which said to use the ”high” setting, and everywhere I looked say that I should have the setting set to ”high”.

Or could this "issue" just be because I am used to the ”low” level?
