will the monitor be stuck at 144 hz or will I get a 240 hz refresh rate on it?

Your external monitor refresh rate is separate to your laptop's display, so youll get 240hz with the right connection. If you can reach that speed in game, god knows unless you tell us whats your laptop.

Hey thanks, I have intel i7 10th gen processor 16 GB ram and rtx 3060 6GB
