HP Laptop is not getting powered ON with battery connected

Bateman1950x

Hi,

My HP elitebook 8470p is not getting powered ON but If I disconnect the battery and boot it with just power cord, it boots & works fine.

I tested the battery on another Laptop (exact model) and it works fine.

Could anyone please advise me on how to fix this issue and get it ON with battery connected? Thanks in advance!!

If the battery works in another laptop and the computer works without the battery I'd guess something is wrong with the battery circuitry in your laptop. That's usually not something that's easily diagnosed or fixed at home.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
