Hi all!

I am building a new rig, and I would like some recommendations for a $1500 Aussie build.

One thing to keep in mind is that I already own a 350D, so it'll have to be an mATX rig, and also an RM650 PSU, so those two things are out of the budget, I also already own peripherals, so the $1500 is just for the tower,

Thanks in advance!

And just in case you're lazy here is the Aussie PCPartPicker -

EDIT - This rig will be mainly for gaming, and a bit of light video editing and rendering, but not too much.

First of all, thanks!

Is there a reason that you went for the 4770k instead of the 4670k? Does it make all that much of a difference?

@SAV1OUR Huh, I didn't think that I could fit a 780 in there, I can shave off some cost and go for a 290, would that be something wise?

-snip-

You don't need 4770k for games and light editing. You could get r9 290, but it's louder hotter and doesn't have all the nvidia fancies.

Hmmm, I might go for the 290 solution, as I don't mind having all the fancies nvidia has to offer, and being a couple of degrees hotter at the core, thanks! :)
