Windows 8.1 update

Hey Guys, 
Just wondering if anyone has the update yet or knows when it will be released? I know its meant to be the on the 8th but I'm in Australia and just wondering what time and what time zone? 
Also where do you get it? I originally thought it was just going to come as "A windows update" but on some websites its saying you're going to have to download it from the store?

Microsoft releases updated in waves, to reduce overloading their servers.

So it may take time before you have it. Due to time zones differences, (I am talking generally, for all that reads this), it may show up the next day.

Update 1 of Windows 8.1 is delivered in Windows Update.
