Choice between two builds

Need some advice, moreso leaning towards amd but any input is welcome

Quite comparable, but the 5950X has quite a few more cores and the build with it is also significantly cheaper. Therefore, I personally would go for the first one.

Both of those are massively expensive. What is the pc going to be used for ?

Its to replace my current gaming pc. Have a 1440p monitor however might in the next year or 2 get a 4 k monitor

Should I buy this 5950x system with the 3080ti or should I wait for the 4000 series?? I think this is a beast that will last me a long time.

What are the specs of your current gaming pc?

 

You might just be able to upgrade your existing pc instead of buying a new one

So now the PC is 700$ off anyone think I should hold off for like 6 months?? I think this is a good price.
