TV Trouble shooting

I have a vizio d48-d0 tv that had its led driver board fried during an electrical storm. The TV turns on but the screen flashes constantly. I have attempted to use replacement boards but do to firmware problems they don't work. I have replaced the eeprom chips on the original board but still have problem. All capacitor look good and test fine. Any Suggestions would be helpful.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but perhaps hit up home insurance if you have that in a tier that covers this type of accidental damages?

TV's are cheap, buy a new one.

Sorry to say this but this happened to one of my family memebers and they just had to buy a new TV. The same thing happened to the same person the week after due to another thunder storm and they were back ordering another one.
