U sure that's a Focus? The Focus seemed more smooth. This one was too boxy. No way this is a focus.

Focus came out in '98 in Europe, and then '99-00 in North America, Focus was extremely popular here for a good few years after that, now I believe the most popular car in UK is Ford Fiesta again, the Fiesta has been no1 many times for many years.
