Budget (including currency): 3000 max

Country: New Zealand

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly just school stuff (I need to use like blender and stuff), Forza Horizon 5 (when it comes out), NFS games, etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Upgrading from a crappy Latitude 7285, will upgrade around 11th July 2022, 1080p 60hz

Hey guys,

I've had a really bad laptop for around 2 years, soon to be 3, and it really just cannot run anything now. I've tried optimising things, clearing out unused files, I've tried everything. And I still get around 10-20 fps on NFS Rivals, a game that came out almost 8 years ago. Gaming is not the only thing, even school things, like Microsoft Teams, it lags on that, somehow. While not plugged in, it just randomly shuts down, while running barely anything (Word, Chrome, and Discord), true story.

I've wanted a new computer for a while, and I want to know when is good, and if I'm getting a good deal. I found this pc on PBTech, https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/WKSGGPC51017A/GGPC-APEX-RTX-3060-Gaming-PC-AMD-Ryzen-7-3700X-8-C . It has a Ryzen 7 3700x, and a 3060, for  2,758 NZD. Around

1933 USD.

Is this a good deal, or am I just being ripped of because it's a prebuilt.

Thanks

its bad for the price.

It's NZ. Very expensive pc parts.

@OvalGabm, the link does not really provide enough detail to judge the system. Of particular concern are motherboard model, memory timings, and PSU model.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
