landline Single Line, Landline phone? Where are they sold??

I've looked on NewEgg and Amazon and I cannot locate a LANDLINE Phone, cordless that is Stand Alone, that is not a phone that's part of a multi-phone system that belongs to an answering machine system.

What is going on?

I just need a Landline cordless phone to hang on the wall, nothing fancy and not related to some 6-20 phone answering machine type system.

I have a tumor growing in my head just searching Google even.

The problem is most cordless landline phones sold are 'goes with sysytem xxx' phones meaning that it would only work if I bought or already owned that phone system. What I was looking for was a 100% stand-alone landline.

Never fail though, I just Amazon searched for my 8-year-old, possibly older, phone and I found it then I bought it late last night for under $15.

But I very seriously appreciate YOUR and others trying to help me
