Lg cx

im gonna buy a LG CX tv, but i was wondering about the product name of it, some is label'd (LG OLED55CX3LA) and some other ( LG OLED48CX6LB)

 

is it still the same tv if its x3 or x6?

yes i know, but what i meant was, the 3LA vs 6LB, cant get the difference between them two

I'm not 100% sure but I think those are just different codes for different regions of the world, for example my 65" CX is OLED65CX6LA. The TV itself should be the same.

region or store...spec wise are the same.....with lg's the only difference ive seen is the stand might be different

From https://en.tab-tv.com/?page_id=7111. According to https://en.tab-tv.com/?p=21498 the letter A (or B) indicates the colour of the stand.

 

It seems the number is a new addition/replacement indicating the sales region. Allegedly from the comments here and here 3 is for Poland/Latvia, 6 for Italy, 8 for Germany, 9 for Austria. I don't know what it would practically mean if you buy either one. The one I can buy here in the Netherlands is 6LA, so I'm guessing "Italy" might just be a generic European code for everything else that doesn't have a number. @JR1911 being in Finland and having the same code makes that more believable to me as well.
