So I'm trying to connect my computer to my tv in the living room wirelessly and I need help.

what are the models of your devices? is it a smart tv? what are you trying to broadcast to the tv?

Gonna need a LOT more information than that. If your TV supports Google Chromecast you can just cast to it using that. Otherwise, you'll have to use dedicated wireless HDMI hardware or something like WiDi (Wireless Display), assuming your TV even supports this.

Is there a particular issue/error? Or, do you just not even know where to begin? Windows 10 has a wireless display connection panel. If your TV is compatible and on the same network as your PC, then it will appear in the list of options. If it doesn't, then it's likely not supported. You can alternatively cast the screen using the Chrome browser if your TV is a smart TV with Chromecast support or you have a Chromecast enabled smart device connected to it. Otherwise, you'll need specialized kit like a wireless HDMI receiver.
