To play Diablo II Resurrected PC Open Beta free of charge, start Battle.net launcher and from the games section select Diablo II: Resurrected. Now change game version to beta and Install the game.

As far as I am aware, Quake II RTX has always been free on steam.

That's correct, hence the Steam reviews I posted above.

This post may be beneficial to those looking to obtain the DRM-FREE GOG version. It benefits me because it's now in my GOG library, which means I can play it on my laptop when I travel without needing Steam to be running in the background.
