RGB

Hahaha sorry didnt know about the kindle. Kinda impressed it would even load a youtube video. hahaha.
Anyway as for your question yes, thats what aRGB can, but regular RGB cannot. (Regular RGB is just 1 color for the whole strip).
ps aRGB comes in 5V (used in PC's.) and a 12V version, that you can use altho not supported by any motherboard.
(I have 6 meters of the 12V version so it can handle more length. as voltage on a led strip drops about 1V ever 2 meters. and 3V is not enough for those leds).
So that might be a thing to consider. But if you dont go over 2 meters per strip. Or are able to 'inject' power ever 2 meters, 5V will be more then enough.
As to complete the information, the actual leds you want are WS2812, which has the chip in the actual led.
WS2811 is a lot cheaper but the chip is outside the led and to reduce costs most of those strips you can control per 3 leds (Not just 1).
WS2812B is an upgraded version of the WS2812 (it has more brightness)
WS2813 is an upgrade for the WS2812B (even more brightness still and higher refresh rate)*
But thats about the led itself, not the strip. But since mentioned a lot, i thought it be good to add here.
*oh i forgot the most important part of that, the WS2813 has a function when a led dies, it wont stop there. the signal continues. (Unlike WS2812).
