In my H510 case, my gpu gets around 65-68c under high load which causes the fans to turn up to a speed where there is a grinding noise(bearing). If I take the side panel off it brings my temps to around 60-63c under high load. Is it ok to leave the side panel off while using it and then put it back on when I am done using it?

People do that.  Some even just leave the thing off period.  Potential dust issues and there’s the possibility of stuff falling into the case and causing problems.  It doesn’t affect operation though.

sounds like you’ve got a dying fan though.  Might do to figure out which one it is and plan for replacement.  Fans don’t heal.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

It's a single fan gpu. I got this system through nzxt's bld system but I installed an aio and new fans and I'm not sure if they will help if I did that. I sent in a request with video clips to show the problem. It was sent around 21 hours ago.

So your video card is heavily cooling modded and you feel that will void the warranty?  Very possibly true.  Only for the video card.  Is this a prebuilt and you’re worried about the aggregator warranty?  The standard move there is generally to put the original stuff back on before you send it it.

No I haven't touched the gpu. I installed new chassis fans (2 intake and 2 exhaust) and put an aio on instead of the aircooler that came with the build.
