Right now im running a Ryzen 5 5600x with an MSI 240R AIO. The aio based on what I've seen has everything working and when it was new kept my temps in the low 40's to high 30's at idle. The cooler has been acting up and I now idle and 50+. I emptied the water to find it grey and filled with gunk. I replaced the water (took me 2-3 hours because of lack of equiptment) and Im getting the same results. What is the issue. The pump seems to be working and the fans are spinning like they should.

First, AIOs are closed Loop, meaning they're not designed to be opened and user serviceable. They're filled with a special combination of fluids to prevent bacterial growth, corrosion and other stuff that happens.

Second, Idling in the 50s isnt much of a problem. Idle temps aren't the important stuff, its the load temps that you need to worry about. Tons of factors can go into why your idle temps went up.

Yeah you just did all that for nothing. Ryzen CPUs idle much hotter, nor that it matters.

the idle raised which is when i did testing, the computer would hit 90-100+ under bigger loads

they idle hot yes, but why the random increase in Idle temps from 38-43 to 50+

it happened in like 2 days

Went from averaging 120+FPS on fivem to barely above 80 around the same time

If you found bits of stuff in the liquid i think its good that you got them out.

But when you fill it you need distilled water + anti-everthing mix.

That said soo many ppl on this forum complain about hightemps on these msi-pump-in-rad aios
