PC has been continually freezing since about Jan/Feb 2021.

When it freezes Task Manager stops counting and all video is paused apart from my cursor.

Through my relatively sound logic, I percieved it to be a hardware issue as event viewer never revealed anything.

I initially thought it to be a motherboard issue as alot of the results i saw said that it was probably motherboard. though i carried out other checks included memtest86

Checked RAM with memtest86, nothing. Reinstalled windows, changed nothing.

Upgraded from MSI B450 Tomohawk Max to B550m Mortar, didnt solve the problem. Updated BIOS and it was working fine for jsut over 2 weeks until it has started freezing again. In that window I updated GPU drivers which was a couple of days before the return of the freezing. Is this a glaring hint that I've not picked up on?

Specs:

Ryzen 5 3600 (2nd hand, part of build in Apr 2020)

MSI B550m Mortar (installed mid July 2021)

MSI 1070 (2nd hand, part of build in Apr 2020)

Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550 80+ Gold (Brand new for build in Apr 2020)

16GB Crucial 3600 CL16 (Brand new for build in Apr 2020)

WD SN550 1TB M.2 (Brand new for build in Apr 2020)

I have no idea what it can be at this point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
