PSU problem?

Okay so here is the problem. When I turn off my PC every component in my pc shuts down, hard drive etc. but 50% of the time my PSU stays on, sometimes it does not but most of the time it does. Is this fixable? My components are:

The PSU is from the FSP GROUP INC. 80 plus bronze 500w FSP450-60EP

AMD FX 6300

8GB HyperX fury ddr3 ram

AMD R7 260x 1GB

HDD some toshiba 500gb nothing special its an hdd so not that good

SSD Kingston 120gb

because I hear the sound coming from the PSU. I can double check tho

I dont know how thwt works but I can hear the cooler from the PSU when that happens
