Hi all

My pc is making a high pitch noise, almost like a static sound. Its really hard to tell where it comes from, but when i put my ear on the cpu backplate i can hear it really good.

The sound isnt "stable", it goes up and down, and when i move the mouse the sound follow the movement, and when i start a game it gets even worse.

But when im in bios its gone.

So far i've tested with :

- New psu

- New gpu

- 2 different cpu coolers

- New motherboard

The pc :

I5 10600k

Tuf 3060ti

Asus tuf z490

16 gb ram 3200mhz

Corsair rmx 650w

The sound is driving me crazy, and i dont know what more to test.

Could it be drivers? Coilwhine?

I can also hear a rattling noise from the power adapter for my asus monitor, is that normal?

Would really appriciate some tips!
