Budget: As cheap as possible.

Country: Saudi Arabia (I can afford world wide shipping from amazon or Newegg)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Ps2 games emulating.

I am a mac user (M1) i didn't like emulating on it. it's so hard and complicated. i am mainly a PS5 gamer so I will only use the Pc for ps2 games.

I want help on building a gaming pc that is cheap with a very small build even if it costs a little more money to make it small (Im not broke I just don't like gaming on pc so i won't spend much on it).

I'm thinking About Ryzen 5700G, I have watched some benchmarks on YouTube, it doesn't game will on 4K with modern games (I'm thinking about enhancing ps2 games with 4k and some mods). I don't know what is better for me APU or CPU/GPU. any suggestion is welcomed.

thank you in advance😎.

If all you want to play is PS2 games, the APU will be more than enough. Even if you enhance it to have better graphics to 4k-ish. It's the single core performance of the CPU that matters most with emulators and the GPU is second.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Bazzite

that was so helpful.

what motherboard should i pick? i need one that is compatible out of the box without a bios update, and has an M.2 option.

You dont need A LOT of performance, around 4 cores with a good igpu shall do. But yes, PCSX2 really do benefit from a GPU.

i loved it. thanks ❤️

but if I'm going with an APU shouldn't i buy the best one? i think I would be more comfortable with something better than 3200G

and what motherboard goes with the 5700G without bios update?

Maybe wait for the 5300g

Or just go for a 5600g

You will also want some fast ram like ballistix 3600mhz cl16, though you can just overclock 3200mhz ram anyways

And definitely overclock the igpu to further improve performance

i know nothing about overclocking unfortunately. thats why i would go with the best APU possible.
