Laptop drawing pad/screen needed

EpiCheeseTime

My wife is wanting to get a good drawing pad or additional screen for her laptop. Since hers doesn't have touchscreen we cant just get a good pen or whatever.

So I'm looking for an additional screen she can use as a touch screen or even a nice little pad and interface with the built in display.

Anyone have some nice recommendations?

Wacom tablets are super nice and an industry standard for artists. The ones with screens are expensive but you can adapt to the ones without a lot quicker then it would seem.

price depends on how big screen you want.

I recommend the newer models with the pen that doesn't require battery

The XP-Pen is also quite nice...

Wacom is likely the best but its way more expensive

If she's using it for Adobe or similar at any level beyond beginner/novice, I'd stroooongly suggest going with Wacom over the generic Chinese budget tablets, even though they cost a bit more. Driver support is miles ahead, compatibility, tutorial availability, etc.

Wacom One can be had for $375 right now: https://estore.wacom.com/en-US/wacom-one-dtc133w0a.html

I don’t think anything exists that low unfortunately. Even the random knock-off stuff (which you really want to avoid) is around 225-250ish.
