custom water cool loop

so I have to general questions for everyone if they can possibly take the time to answer both my questions.  I recently just purchased a Thermaltake C360 DDC Hard Tube Water-Cooling Kit  and was trying to screw in the CPU block  but it wasn't going down all the way, when I removed the block I did thought to myself, do I have to reapply new thermal paste after taking off the block for a few minutes?  and has anyone else have issues with fitting this kit into a mid tower?

No. But you might as well. I always replace the stock paste with something better, not that it really makes a big difference.

Are you using the correct stand-offs for your particular motherboard? I had an issue with my Watercool CPU block initially as I'd been sent the wrong fittings (LGA1151 instead of LGA2011) so even through the screw placements were correct I couldn't torque down the CPU block.
