New build not posting

Built my second build, first in a hot ass minute.

updated the BIOS per Gigabytes website. Lights turn on, fan turns on, RGB keyboard comes on after a few and shuts off, on, off and then stays on. Monitor hooked up to motherboard has black screen.

Check CPU for bent pins

CMOS reset

Breadboard startup

reseating RAM and GPU

Trying to post with one stick of RAM

any help would be great, don’t really want to buy a new motherboard.

Aorus X570 Elite Wifi

Ryzen 5 5600X

Asrock 6700 XT

Corsair RM650

First things first, hook your monitor up to your GPU. That CPU has no integrated GPU and you'll never get a picture out of the motherboards HDMI/DP ports.

I’ll have to try that when I get off work. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks!

@rickeoalright, issue number two. It posted and got windows installed when I breadboarded it but now that it’s all hooked up my GPU isn’t turning on. Tried different PCIe slots and different ports and cables from my PSU and no luck. Tried with original boot drive connected and disconnected. Any thoughts?

Nevermind. Turns out my favorite thing is to make rookie mistake after rookie mistake. CPU power wasn’t plugged in…..

@rickeo @puppo whatever you two are getting paid, needs to be double. I feel like a moron that it was that simple. But that’s exactly what it was. You two are royalty
