The "system reserved" partition.

Khalil_Abuthiyab

Hi guys.

I have installed an HHD on my Acer predator helios 300  as a secondary drive a while back, but I didn't realise that the HHD was used as the system drive for an old laptop, and when I open "my pc" I see the "system reserved" partition taking about half of the space.

so my question is:

is it possible to format that partition?

also I am new here, I didn't know where should I post this.

Yeah, you can go into disk managment, delete all partitions and create a new one. This will obviously delete everything so backup anything important first.

Macrium is also a good tool (free) for completely deleting everything off a drive. Did that while moving my data around, windows had laid out the partitions really stupidly.
