How to remove harddrive from its cage?

Go to solution Solved by abit-sean,

I have this case and you have to apply a little outwards force to one side and it will just pop out. The plastic is relatively soft and has 4 parts sticking out that line up with the hard drive mounting holes.

My harddrive is currently stuck in this tool less cage that came with the corsair 275r and I can't seem to get it to open up. Any ideas?

Check if it's screwed into it first.

If not, generally you'll need to twist one side out. They have little pegs that go into the side of the drive, once one side is free the other should follow. You often need to twist quite a bit, they're flexible.
