Hello

I was looking towards making some sort of "face plate" for my ongoing project, now tbh there is people in my city (Actually, quite a lot of people) that can do it just fine

But here's the thing, i want the "face plate" to be painted and have some sort of text and character,

ideally i want it to have a color but single color text also fine

If you guys confused on what I'm talking

About the face plate, the face plate would would be lookingIMG_20210810_051037.thumb.jpg.04d01728b4f5f50d788f1052ff485190.jpgIMG_20210810_051049.thumb.jpg.daaa47699ecb6f22e02c7ba944b7ed88.jpg something like this

And i want to know if there's a good company/fab that will make something like those

There are a couple of options you can do:

1.3D print it (this requires you to have some 3d skills)

2.Make it like @James Evens mentioned like a PCB

3.Make it aluminium and to some chemical engraving or laser etching

Problem with all of these you will have to have some preparation or design of what exactly you want.

There is always the option to buy a PCB. AllPCB allows matt black soldermask with yellow silkscreen.

The "problems" with pcb was, I need the plate to have some sort of "locking" mechanism, so you kinda put it slightly to the left and to lock it you slide it to right...

And i, more or less, have the design on hand,

Will try the 3d printing method, thanks guys

I know there is one German company which is highly recommended for DIY audio projects, but can't remember the name.

However, I managed to find this site which makes custom front panels for 500 series projects.

IMHO pricing is reasonable and it seems that they ship everywhere.

Front Panel Express in the US is decent. They're pricey, but I've used them a few times at work and their quality is excellent

FWIW, if you're building a Neve clone, there are a lot of people who sell pre-made front panels for them.
