Hey gang, so I’ve decided I’m going to build myself a gaming/streaming/video editing PC. It’s over 10 years since I’ve owned a desktop and just wanted to get your opinions on what I’m thinking of building.

Motherboard: Asus AM4 TUF X570 (wifi)

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X

GPU: Nvid 3060 (whenever that will be)

Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz

HD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB | Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM

Power: Corsair RM750x 80 Plus Gold

Case: Corsair 4000D

Cooling: Recommendations welcome

Lemme know if you need any more info. Thanks!!!

Uneccesary : x570, ssd

Overpriced : ram, ssd

Swap the x570 for a decent b550 board like b550a pro

Swap the ssd for a cheaper one that still has dram cache like silicon power a80 or kingston a2000

Swap the ram for cheaper rgb alternatives like tforce delta rgb or silicon power turbone rgb

Otherwise it seems decent

Btw whats your budget?

What country do you come from?

What will you use the pc for?

Any extra needs (such as wifi)?

Any overclocking?

I’ll look into making the changes.

-I’m looking at around the $2000-$2200 mark w/o the peripherals.

-Canada

-PC will be for Gaming/streaming and hobby film/video editing

-Probably should get the wifi

-As far as overclocking goes I’m a complete noob so probably wont be playing around with that.
