Id look in to Ubuntu or Pop OS. They are both easy to use and installing it should be pretty straightforward. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

homi i am switing to linux cuz i hate how much performance windows takes linux should be much more stable on my 250 USD laptop with 4Gb memory , an intel pentium quad core and a intel intergrated Gpu and BTW this thing was bought in probably 2018 - 2019 and i do prefer windows but i can make a change
